eSIM support

Enable data roaming for your eSIM

Most travel eSIM plans need data roaming enabled on the Nomra line. Roaming allows the line to use partner networks; data only works once your phone registers on a supported network in destination.

Please read

  • Do not delete your eSIM while fixing roaming—unless support tells you to.
  • Use Wi-Fi when changing settings if your main line has no data.
  • You are not “connected” until your phone shows service and data works for the Nomra line.

Before you change settings

Common mistake

Roaming is enabled per line. The mistake we see most often:

  • Roaming is left off on the Nomra eSIM while the home SIM still has roaming on
  • Mobile data is still set to the home SIM while you expect Nomra to carry traffic
  • The Nomra line is installed but turned off—so roaming toggles do nothing useful
  • Turn the Nomra eSIM line on in settings.
  • Set mobile data to the Nomra eSIM when you want internet on that plan.
  • Confirm you are in a country covered by your plan.

Check before assuming it is connected

Look for signal bars, a carrier or network name, and working mobile data (try loading a webpage or sending a chat). If the line is enabled but data fails, restart the phone and try manual network selection from the network troubleshooting guide.
